As part of our mission to see the non-statutory homeless people accommodated,
Diamonds Thrive has representation on various organisations that are involved with strategies aimed at accommodating those who are homeless or sleeping rough.
One of the organisations that Diamonds Thrive has representation on is the “Providers Forum for Supported Housing”.  There is a need for housing and support providers, charitable, statutory and private organisations to meet together on a regular basis to share information and to promote supported housing and the ethos of supporting people.

Some of the purposes of this forum are as follows:

Be the unified voice and focus for housing and support providers working and/or expressing an interest, establishing and developing on-going relationships with the Supporting People Team and partners.

As a forum for liaison and as a channel for consultation and communication between housing and support provider members.

Develop co-ordinated response to changes in legislation and guidance affecting member organisations.

Share information on relevant issues and matters of mutual concern.

Promote the work and profile of housing support providers, promoting ownership of Supporting People and assuring its access.

Encourage joint working in order to provide high quality housing, support and community regeneration services.

Encourage locally based research, and good practice initiatives, sharing expertise, experience and good practice.
